It's time for the world's leading and largest Conference and Festival of Contemporary Character Design and Art, and with it a multitude of inspiring artist talks, big screen animation programs, hands-on workshops, numerous exhibitions and art-happenings, ...

... and in the middle of it all possibly YOU, ON STAGE, PRESENTING YOUR WORK!

For our 11th edition we've decided to stir things up: This time, besides the conference, it's the attendees themselves that enter the lime-light to introduce their personal projects to a professionals-only room full of international makers and shakers from companies such as Hornet, Passion, Strange Beast, Disney, Sony Pictures, Lego, Wooga, WGSN or Agent Pekka...

The Pictoplasma Conference is your chance to get inspired by the international crème de la crème of today's visual creation - literally eye to eye! This year's epic line-up of presenting artists covers a mind-bending range of media and disciplines, mixing edgy editorial design with fine art, global mascots with subversive graphic novels and shiny sculptural installation with surrealist motion graphics. Additionally, the accompanying Pictoplasma Festival invites all character lovers to discover a fine selection of curated group shows, installations and art happenings throughout the city, illuminates the big screen with a brand new selection of pearls-only Animation programs and make sure you truly get into character with endless art-happenings, live-performances and all-night parties...

Besides the Academy All-Stars group show at Urban Spree presenting exciting new character worlds by the 27 talents of our new master class, the main Festival exhibition features never befor seen original work and limited editions by this year's Festival artists. Don't let yourself be scared off by the unusual venue: A recently re-discovered dormant crematory, hidden away in the trending Wedding district!

After 10 year's of tirelessly offering a stage to a hand-picked line-up of character-defining artists, this time we want to enable you, the attendees of the conference, to introduce your personal portfolio and character based projects to an exclusive audience of today's top professionals from the fields of production, licensing and marketing of character design.
All of this in a warm, cosy, intimate surrounding, where selected attendees and industry professions get the chance to privately hook up for focused discussion, give instant feed-back, and draft common strategic plans for world domination …
